Daily journal December 27, 2000, The Sword of the Lord, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, early this morning the above title came to me for a book of my artwork front cover. I must buy new canvas and paint what I see as a message from God. The Sword of the Lord is the Word of God and this is shown as a double edged sword coming out of the mouth of Christ the Messiah in his second coming on a horse with clouds of His Saints. I believe that I am to paint this scene to appear on the cover of my art book of spiritual art. In health today, the American athlete shown recovered from cancer that competed in the Tour de France is unbelievable as shown on 60 minutes II. Only diet will cure cancer, not chemotherapy as they promoted on CBS last evening. Is this more hype and somehow promoting a killer treatment for all to receive? So near dead this young man reported to have cancer in his lungs and brain and maybe in a testicle, recovered to quite a man to win the race. I believe in divine healing but this was not mentioned. I believe in natural alternative vegetarian health but nothing was mentioned in this capacity. I do not believe. A review on television of autism from the person most responsible for the movie Rain Man with Dustan Hoffman. This person could calculate enormous figures in just a split second. I wish I could do half the things he could especially in reading many books and remembering all things so perfectly. Many considered retarded may be the smartest of all. Let us take time with special needs people to study their problems and listen well. The awful killing of seven people in Wakefield Massachusetts by an employee is a sign of our times and is revealing the frustration of the general public, the hopelessness many people feel should be addressed long before it comes to this. The IRS had garnished this mans wages and left him in frustration reportedly. Where is the church and what are they offering in terms of hope and a real relationship with God. Without a life is changed and without a person feels the spirit of God, there is no real difference in people until the one touch comes from God on one’s life. Let all the redeemed of the Lord say so and rejoice. Blue laws were written on blue paper back in New Haven in the 17^th Century by the Colonialist. Essentially Blue means righteous or Holy like the Sabbath should be Holy. The arrest of certain Wal-Mart employees for selling something a few minutes early this Sunday on Christmas Eve is so ridiculous. With major crime on every corner the plain clothes police are chasing little people that make minimum-wage in a retail store with fines of $250.00 each. Another shooting at the Highway Patrol here in Greenville today from a speeding car. Law enforcement makes it clear that crimes against law officers will be dealt with in a more severe way that ordinary citizens will when they are victims of crime. We live in a sick society and eat the food of hyperactive people. What can we expect to happen when right and wrong is no longer permitted to be taught in our public schools and not very much in Sunday schools if anyone still has Sunday school. The church has become politically correct where there are no absolutes and God is brought into question. Prayer is number one to start with daily in a home with the Word of God being read and understood. One hour on Sunday is not enough to change a heart-and maintain a Christian life. We must be in communication with God-through Christ every day and even every hour praising him and rejoicing in that hope and peace we have that only God gives. Let no man block anyone from this position of trust and service to God Almighty which is the only way to be saved in all eternity. Let us think for ourselves and study for ourselves and know the Word of God that our lives will be complete in Christ Revelation 2-26"He that overcome and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations". May thy will be done Dear Lord in each of our lives every day.
